Question:
“Hi.
I recently bought a used Rondinax 35u on eBay.
Everything was good, but unfortunately, I found a crack in the body late and it’s leaking there now.
I’ve given up returning it and I’m looking for a watertight fix.
If there is a good way to fix the crack, please share it.”

Hi,
Probably using bathroom waterproof silicon is the way.
I’d try epoxy, roughening up the surface first.
I’d patch the compromised area from the inside with something like Permatex Gas Tank & Radiator Epoxy Potty. Just make sure to not make it too thick so it doesn’t get in the way of the reel.
