Christopher Moss reports:

I have now done two colour films with a Unicolor Presskit in my Rondinax tanks. Perfect results and much easier than the three inversions every thirty seconds regime of a standard tank. For temperature control I simply used a presoak that was about 105ºF then developer warmed to 102ºF. I sat the tank on a dry dishcloth to insulate it from the counter underneath, but made no effort to sit it in a waterbacth between inversions as I used to do with a Paterson tank. It doesn’t seem to have done any harm. Here’s an example.

Incidentally, I still cannot get my homemade monobath to work without surge marks in conventional tanks despite all the tricks I can think of, so I’m very happy it works in the Rondinax!
