Ian Livingston found that his tank which sometimes failed to load properly (27 July 2014 Post) could be made to work every time. He writes: If I line up the front of the Rondinax with the edge of a table, so that when I pull the backing paper I can pull it vertically downward, it works every time! Perhaps this helps to obviate the “fault” with the wavy edge of the cassette? I can only think there must be a very slight change of the angle at which the film as it parts from the backing paper runs into the light-tight container of the tank. The instructions for the Rondinax 60 suggest an oblique angle as shown (with Ian’s solution to the problem with his tank added as a red arrow): Screen Shot 2014-10-03 at 16.15.30
